Mayfield 7 Bulk Liquids Berth Project
Stolthaven Australia proposes to construct and operate a new, purpose built berth at the Mayfield 7 (M7) site as nominated on the approved Port of Newcastle ‘Concept Plan’ for development on the former BHP steelmaking site at Mayfield. The berth is currently approved for use as a berthing facility only, however subject to further approvals, future development at the site will see the construction and installation of bulk liquids handling infrastructure on the berth to facilitate the transfer of products to and from vessels and the adjacent bulk liquids terminal.
